In 2010, the population of Owasso Oklahoma was right at 29,000people that created just over 10,600 households and over 7,000 families. With almost 1,800 people per square mile, it may not sound like the small town kind of place, but it is.

Owasso is a racially diversified city that consists of just over 79% White and almost 3% Black, almost 7% Native American and almost 2% Asian. The Hispanic or Latino population was at 6.7% in 2010. Almost half of the households in Owasso had children under 18 years of age, and there were almost 11% with a female as head of the house.

With a population of almost 34% that is younger than 18 and almost 8% were 18 to 24 years of old and almost 34% between 25 to 44, Owasso is a “young” city. And that younger city has a good income according to the 2010 census!  The household median income here at that time was over $66,500, and less than 8% were classified as below the poverty line. Almost 31% of the residents here have a bachelor degree or higher.
